Fear not ... There are ways that you can discover how much your home is worth. One of them is to have a chartered surveyor to do an assessment.
Unlike real estate agents, which only serves to give an opinion, Chartered Surveyors are regulated by law to conduct a thorough and fair, but at the end of the day that is still their interpretation of the facts that determines the value you give. And anyway, that is a step; If your House is not worth enough to make your move chosen preferable and/or vitali, who is wasting people's time.

So, while you are gathering intel on supply, it is important to keep good notes to addresses or even just the streets and homes as agents of your for sale, and of course the price requested. Then, mark a star with an approximate time for sale.

Do this for a couple of months and basically you should know what price you can get for your home in a reasonable time. At the very least, those who do not need, but they want to sell should know if it would be worth doing so now-who will win or lose the deal.
